I was born in Fatih, Istanbul, Turkey in July, 28th, 1977. I had B.Sc. (1998), M.Sc. (2003) and PhD. (2008) at University of Istanbul Science Faculty, Physics Department. I worked at the same university as Research Assistant between 2000-2008, Research Assistant Dr between 2008-2013 and Assoc. Professor between 2013-2016. On 30th of May 2016 I started to work at Ege University, Faculty of Science, Physics Department as an Assoc. Professor. As a Post Doc fellow, I have visited 1) Hungary, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Chemistry Department (3 months, fully suported by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey)), 2) Portugal, Coimbra University, Chemistry Department (1 year, fully supported by YOK (Higher Education Council of Turkey) and S. Korea, KOPRI (Korean Polar Research Institute, 1 month, fully supported by KOPRI by cooperation with ITUPolRec (Istanbul Technical University Polar Research Center) and Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of Turkey) respectively between 2010 and 2012, respectively. I have 20 papers in SCI peer-reviewed journals and 1 non-SCI paper. 33 presentations in international meetings, 10 presentations in national meetings. I organized 3 international molecular spectroscopy congresses (TURCMOS 2013-2015-2017) and 2 National workshops on Asteroid Mining and Meteoritics) with international participants, as the chair.
My main research interest since 2011 are Meteoritics, Asteroid Mining, Cultural Heritage, Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy and SEM&EDS techniques. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish very well, Hungarian and Korean as beginner. I am married.
